Water is well over the road on route 128, you might be ok to go though if you have a truck but if your driving a car you will need to find another route.  The Wife and I had to turn around on our way to work this morning.

Wow I could have told you that it cost more to live here then it does in California.  Vermont is still one of the prettiest places to live though.

Vermont State Police say they caught two alleged home burglars thanks to an observant neighbor.

At 2:45 a.m. Monday police responded to a reported home burglary on Georgia Mountain Road. They say a neighbor stopped Bryant Nichols, 18, of South Burlington, and Cory Terry, 20, of Milton, as the pair tried to flee the area. They were reportedly wearing snowshoes stolen from the home, and police say they also burglarized another home.

The stolen property was found in a snow bank. Both men now face charges

Please be on the lookout for a 1994 Green Honda Accord with Vermont Plates FCT 989.  Car has already been involved in a burglary here in Fairfax and the State Police have been notified.

Someone stole Jacob's Welcome home banner lastnight.  It was hung out by the road just past the car wash and happened after 8 pm last night.  If anyone saw a car parked at the car wash or someone around that area last night could you please let me know 802-752-0908.

Anybody know the rule on your land when you sell it into land trust? I know it's open to the Public for hiking and recreation if it is in Land trust but can you post it to keep hunters out?

Reviews / Ebay?

Does anyone have any experience buying off Ebay?  How safe is it?  would buying and ATV off there be safe?  The guy is telling me he is in the military and wants to ship it to me from Alaska.  Just sounds fishy but I havenever bought off Ebay before.  Any in site would be helpfull.

Does anyone know if the town sold the power station at the falls to CVPS or did CVPS always own it?  Just wondering because Enosburg has a similar station and it's ran by the town.  Their power is pretty reasonable up there to.  Makes me wonder now that CVPS wants to raise rates by almost 9% yuck.

Has anyone been having problems with Dish Network they just lost a bunch of channels including FX witch is the only channel I really watch.  Now they are saying I have to pay $300 to cancel there service.

General Discussion / Public input on ordinances

Just wanted to know what everyone thinks about a Curfew ordinance in our town on persons under 16?

Maybe it would help in the warmer months with preventing so of the vandalism that has been occurring over the last year.

Also what are thoughts on a ATV ordinance for the town?

I feel that these items seem to be long over due as a lot of towns have them.  Well post away.
