Hello -
The park was vandalized sunday night and Monday - I wrote a grant for a storywalk, and we have 12 stories now, and  Cody has been putting a new one in every two weeks.  Sunday night and Monday night - each one was ripped up and the stakes that secure them were broken. Please keep your eyes out and let me know if you see or hear anything.

That is so disheartening.  I adore the Storywalk and everything folks have done to make the park so welcoming.  Bad form, vandals. >:(

Because they have never learned how to respect anyone else's property. Add to that, there isn't a real penalty that they have to deal with if they are caught. You got it right Josh, they are just a bunch of punks.

They got power to the park yet?  Time for some Infared cameras and motion lights methinks.

I was thinking the exact same thing Suzy, but never posted!! My son had just bought one through Cabelas the day I read this post, he's waiting for it to arrive. It's a sure way to see who is doing the damage, but it would have to be securely locked down and in something indestructible or  very well hidden. Otherwise a great idea. :-)
