Big day today for BFA Fairfax!!!!!!!! Our Girls varsity soccer team beat Lake Region to advance to the semi finals. Also our BFA Football team beat Winooski and has made the playoffs for the first time in school history!!!!!!! Way to go BFA

More bad news!!! had a break in on Rugg Rd. yesterday and another reported on Woodward Rd. today!!! Not sure what was stolen yet I will try to get some more info but it appears that they were done mid day same as before.

Hey Everyone,
We had another break in today in Fairfax a lot of valuables taken witch include cash, digital camera and a compound bow!! The home was ransacked and it appeared that the individuals took there time to go through everything. If anyone happened to see anything on Woodward rd. around mid day please call the State Police 524-5993. Thanks

Hey Everyone, Just heard that a Vermont resident U.S. Army Lt. Joseph Fortin of St. Johnsbury was killed in Iraq Sunday when his platoon was attacked in Bagdad. He is the 30th Vermonter killed in combat here is the story http://www.wcax.com/global/story.asp?s=10987561.

Just to let you all know and please pass the word there will be a rabies clinic in Fairfax at the town garage. The date will be the 27th of March and it will be from 4:30- 5:30pm or as long as it takes to get everyone through. The prices are below.
Rabies $15
Distemperment $15
Feline Leukemia $20
Your dog licenses will be available for purchase at this time also. Remember April 1st is the cut off for getting your dogs licensed it only cost around $10 depending on sex and whether or not they have been fixed. The fine for having an unlicensed dog in Fairfax can be as high as $75

Hello all,
Just thought I would let everyone know to keep a look out for a vehicle that i saw around town yesterday. I saw the vehicle 2 separate times once on swamp road and once on fletcher road about an hour later. It was driving very slow and on fletcher road the vehicle stopped in front of the residents house i was at and took pictures. When me and the resident tried to confront the men they took off. The vehicle is a 97 green ford Taurus with two male occupants. The vehicle had NY tags on it but because dirt on it I could not get a plate number. Just thought everyone should be aware because it seemed very suspicious to me.

Hello All,
As most of you probably know I have been the secondary appointed constable in Fairfax for about 8 months now. Well my appointment is up and the elected position is open as Ted Cantwell will not be running for reelection. I wanted some input from people in town as to what they expect from the Town Constable before I decide if I'm going to run for the position. While I do not mind handling the animal control problems in the town of Fairfax. I would like to also put more of a Law Enforcement presence with in the town because I think the town could use it. Of course I would have to OK this with the select board first but I just wanted to know how other people in town felt? So lets hear it?

Last night at around 9pm someone in a plow truck struck a vacuum at the car wash in Fairfax doing around 2000 dollars in damage. We are unsure if this was an act of vandalism or not. If you have any information or saw anything please contact either the Vermont state police at 524-5993 or Paul Langelier at 849-2230. Thank you.

Hey Everyone,
Last Night around 10pm I came across a stolen Fourwheeler on Austin Rd in Fiarfax. It was a yellow Polaris 700 sportsman that belonged to a resident of cherrierville RD. the ignition was punched out and it was just sitting in the ditch running. It had just barely been stolen I would assume between the hours of 9-10pm. The sheriff's department is handling the investigation. If anyone saw anything please call and let them know.

Hey everyone,
Keep an eye out for a white male between 5’9” and 5’11” scruffy and driving a little silver car. He was up on Cherrierville RD today around 2 pm. Jim Magnan walk out of his bedroom to find him standing in the middle of his living room. The man says he was trying to find his dog which he had lost the night before (Pretty sorry excuse for entering someone’s house uninvited). A report has been filed with the State Police and I intend to inform the Sheriff’s office also.
