SANDRA L. BUSHEY
FAIRFAX — Sandra L. Bushey, 59, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning Aug. 1, 2006, in Fletcher Allen Health Care following heart surgery. Sandra was born October. 25, 1946, in Burlington, the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Sweeney) Jones. On May 23, 1981, Sandra married Wilfred “Willy“ Bushey, who predeceased her on January 17, 2003. She had worked many years for Sodexho at UVM, as supervisor of food services. She will be remembered as an avid bingo player. Sandra lived on School Street in Fairfax for over 25 years. Mrs. Bushey loved her children and grandchildren. They meant the world to her. She is survived by her children, Molly Bigelow, John Bigelow and his wife Eileen, Carrie Bushey, all of Fairfax; her grandchildren, Sarah and Patrick Bigelow and Marshall Bushey; her brothers, Walter Jones and Garry Jones; her sisters Mable Kline and Shirley Lumbra; and by several nieces and nephews including Tanya Bushey and her daughter April, April Craig and her husband Donald and their daughter Breyona. In addition to her husband, Willy, Sandra was predeceased by her son Marshall Bigelow, brothers and sisters, Betty Lawyer, Barbara Jones, Frank Jones Jr., Joyce Pecor and Robert Jones Sr. Funeral services will be held Friday evening Aug. 4, 2006, at 7 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
