David, When the last buglary spree happened a few months ago, I took a map of fairfax on google earth and pinpointed all the robberies that I knew of, also where the suspected robbers lived. There were two complete circles, one around maple street and one around the condos on main street. One kid was arrested from the condos and the other from maple street.

What kind of bow and camera? The more specific details the better, that way I can keep my eyes and ears open.

Cedarman,

Where did you buy that security system because my husband told me it was illegal to record AND video without one's knowledge here in VT.  You can record sound OR video but he claims you could not do both.  I would love to have both, is he wrong?

I'm thinking there's more to that law about who and when you can Video someone.  For one thing - if trespassers enter your property, when it's clearly and legally posted, and they're warned about the use of closed circuit recording then anything goes I'd say - they've been duly warned.  If they don't want to be videoed and are a legit person on your property then they should come back later or call ahead plain and simple.  I'm pretty sure that when it comes to your own private property, those public privacy ( sounds like an oxymoron i know) laws don't apply.  Not too sure about the audio & video versus only permitting only 1 of them - makes no sense from a security point of view - thus why i think the law doesn't apply to this scenario.  I better look this up now to be sure.....
