Face Book has been somewhat of a new world for me - I have to keep going to the Internet to try and find out what people are saying.  One person said they were going to bed right after they "Shake a tower."  What in heck is that, I thought, so went to the slang dictionary and this is what I found:

Etimology: from Distortion Language. Came from rearranging the first letter of the first word and the first two of the second. rearranging the letters of words in some phrases is common in Distortion Language.

"We'll leave right after I shake a tower."

Means take a shower, now I will go back and read the rest of the comment.

Have you not heard of the "Runny Babbit" book. It is a billy sook but we like it. It has a lot of different sayings such as...
ki hids
The Funny Bamily
Runny fad a hamily
Matter of fact, he had
a sother and two bristers,
A dummy and a mad.
His mamma fed him marrot cilk
And parrot cie and such.
And all the them were happy,
In their cozy hunny butch.

bamhurgers
dot hogs
chied fricken
boast reef
chilled greese
chork pops
forn clakes
canpakes with sutter and byrup
angle cood fake
parrots and ceas
crimp shocktall
peanut jutter and belly
soodle noup
T.L.B.
Acon & beggs

If you would like to read the book I will be more than happy to let you read it. It certainly makes you not take the english language for granted. hee hee

Learning the English language was hard enough the first time, think I'll pass.
