If you are looking for a camera with Image stabilization then you may want to look at the Canon PowerShot A570 IS which is the same camera as the A560 but has Image Stabilization. Both cameras came out in early 2007 so the technology is almost three years old. Bet you could get it at a good price though.

I didn't read all of the suggestions but I would get a camera with the LOWEST F stop.
They take the best pics in low light.
