Years ago this time of year you would see temporary electric fences up & the cows enjoying the green grass in the meadow.  This was the time a year we got our biggest milk checks.  Farmers now cut meadows up to 4 times..  I believe our Fairfax farmers have their corn all cut & JoAnne Wilkins, Steve Ratte & Mary Kay Raymond have about finished getting their fall photos.  I have their photos posted & they didn't have to travel far to capture Vermont's beauty. 

Enjoy our most beautiful time of year.
