Bernie Keefe described the high volume of traffic each school day morning between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. All the traffic to the school, which is the meeting place of the community comes off Route 104, via Hunt, School and Maple Streets. All this traffic must also exit via these three streets on Route 104

Mike Cain gives a vivid description of his daily walk up Route 104 from the village to pick up his mail. Mike doesn't drive and there is no walkway other than on the highway. This walk can be quite treacherous, especially with the Winter Snow Plowing and regular traffic

I didn't get the name of the moderator of the discussion session, however he is show above identifying the traffic bottlenecks and dangerous intersections. The only bottlenecks he identified were in the center of Fairfax Village and the four corners where Route 104 meets the exit to I89 in St. Albans

The group consisted mainly of retirees who do not travel Route 104 during high traffic hours - It is unfortunate that some of the individuals who do travel during these times were unable to attend

There were between 15 and 20 people who attended the meeting. I did not know the individuals in the foreground above, but believe they may have been part of the group chairing the discussion group

The resident in the red jacket, who I do not know, mentioned the fact that many people who travel to Burlington from North Fairfax use the Oakland Station Road which is definitely a dangerous intersection. From what I could gather, I believe it is also called the Conger Road
