Highlight for album: Art In Bloom Festival
Art In Bloom Festival
The First Annual Art in Bloom Festival held on July 28, 2007 from 9-5 took place at Swanson's Nursery where over 30 vendors displayed their wares. This benefits the Fairfax Fire & Rescue Departments - I will have identification of the different vendors at a later time, meanwhile, enjoy the photos and if you have the time drop down.

Highlight for album: Tree Falls On Old Chandler House Where Dusty Trail Realty Is On Main Street
Tree Falls On Old Chandler House Where Dusty Trail Realty Is On Main Street
Fairfax is truly a very efficient little town. The storm hit around 4:15 p.m. and I went out at 6:15 p.m. to find that the Sam Webb Road and Buck Hollow Road were clear and chain saws could be heard in many areas as debris was being picked up. Got down to the village and saw a lot of cars at Dusty Trail Realty and also heard chain saws there. Stopped to see what was going on and a group of people had cut the tree off the house and were loading it in Bill Superneau's pickup and taking it away. Ann Lemieux sent me the following note along with the photos: Hello Henry, For a caption can you please write, "Ann wants to thank her clients, Bill Superneau and Jeff Clokey for coming to their Realtors rescue. Also, my son Nicholas and husband Mark. It is times like this that a small community comes together and helps each other out. Thank you"
