SENIOR LUNCHEON AND OCTOBER FLU SHOTS

OCTOBER 7, 2003

As the cooks prepare the Senior Luncheon (Those warm rolls sure did smell delicious)

Annette Koch anticipates what that needle is going to feel like

While this gentleman decides he will have the shot in his left arm

Senior members chat and catch up on old times

Having already gone through the torture of the flu shot

Knowing that there is some delicious food coming soon -
(Larry Parsons, shown above looking at camera, passed away on October 28, 2003)

Albert Rich and Orman Ovitt seem to have something of interest they are checking on

I told Bob Luman that I expected his grandson Mike to see this picture - thus the big smile
(Bob Luman passed away while reading his newspaper November 19, 2003)

And still smiling while the nurse administers the flu shot
(Bob Luman passed away while reading his newspaper November 19, 2003)

Apparently there was no pain involved as the nurse had plenty of practice. She told me that she had given between 65 and 70 flu shots since 10:30 a.m. and it was now only noon.
