MAPLE SYRUP TIME AT THE COLLINS FARM IN FAIRFAX, VERMONT

The Collins Sugar House on the Buck Hollow Road in Fairfax

John Collins and his wife Betty still live on the family farm. Owen & Imogene Collins, John's parents, moved to Fairfax in the early 1940s. John's son Jeff Collins, his brother Tom Collins, and a neighbor, David Woodward who were out gathering more sap for the operation had not arrived yet when I was there.
