The meeting was called to
order by G. Heyer at 7:00 PM. The Board read the business plan from Jason and
Elizabeth Minor. This prompted a discussion about lodging establishments and
boarding houses, and which districts they are allowed in. The topic of retail, lodging, places of worship and public facilities to be
allowed in all districts was also discussed. M. Hunziker feels that the big
picture for the Town needs to be reviewed before major changes are made. This
subject will be discussed further at the joint meeting with the Planning
Commission, the Selectboard, and the Development Review Board.
Hammer-heads at the end of
shared driveways were discussed. G.
Heyer would like Skip Taylor to get clarification from the fire chief as to the
configuration of a hammer-head, and the minimum width that would be required
for fire trucks to turn around. He will also get clarification of how long a
driveway needs to be, before a passing zone should be required.
A. Lemiuex made a motion to accept the minutes from
November 21, 2006. M. Hunziker second. All in favor.
Discussion continued on
various subjects.

favor.
Next meeting will be a joint meeting with the
Selectboard and the Development Review Board on December 19, 2006, at 7:00 PM.
