7:00 PM G. Heyer called the meeting to order. The minutes from October 20, 2009 were reviewed. D. Brown made a motion to accept the minutes from October 20, 2009. A. Lemieux second. All in favor.
The Discussion focused on the Planned Unit Development (PUD) section of the proposed Bylaws.
The general consensus was that:
a. PUDs should be enabled, not required in all districts.
b. 50% open space should be required for all PUDs.
c. All land should be included for a PUD (non-developable portions will not be subtracted for density
d. No minimum lot size for PUDs in the Growth Center District and the Mixed Use District should be
required. All other Districts will continue to require a ½ acre lot for each single family unit.
e. No minimum lot sizes should be required for multi-family structures or condos.
G. Brunswick will re-word the section that will specify that open land does not need to be a separate lot. She then read a new definition of a PUD.
The Board will discuss the Subdivision Section at the next meeting.
There will be no meeting on November 17, 2009.
The next meeting will be on November 24, 2009 with G. Brunswick.
