7:00 PM The Board Members filled out two forms requested by the Town Clerk. There was discussion on the proposed Legislation for Change. G. Brunswick explained that the State is considering consolidating organizations such as the Regional Planning Commissions into Regional Service Centers. The various organizations each have very different missions.
The first draft of the Revision to the Regulations was discussed. The Board all agreed that the new format was very easy to read with a good flow of information. They liked the visual aspects of the report. Many specific sections were discussed in detail:
Floor space/foot print area
Child care – size of facilities
Density – will add text box to define density in the text.
Future clarification in the Regulations:
Make the Conditional Use Standards less vague.
Both M. Hunziker and S. Taylor will meet with G. Brunswick on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 9:AM to go over small clerical changes to the draft. The minutes from March 2, 2010 were reviewed. M. Hunziker made a motion to accept the minutes from March 2, 2010. A. LeMieux second. All in favor.
8:55 PM M. Hunziker made a motion to adjourn. D. Brown second. All in favor.
The next meeting will be on May 4, 2010.
