Planning Commission April 4, 2006

FAIRFAX TOWN OFFICE

PC MEMBERS PRESENT: G. Heyer, M. Hunziker, A. Lemieux,

Public Present: S. Taylor, ZA, Susan Kuehn, Robin Kuehn

The meeting was called to order by G. Heyer at 7:35PM. The minutes from March 21, 2006 were reviewed. A. Lemieux made a motion to accept the minutes from March 21, 2006. M. Hunziker second. G. Heyer, M. Hunziker and A Lemieux in favor.

Discussion continued on the Bylaw changes. Home Occupations were discussed and changes made to the wording of the Bylaws using some of the sample language received from the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC). Affordable Housing and elderly housing was also discussed. The section on Mobile Home parks was reviewed again. The need to update the Solid Waste Implementation Plan (SWIP) was discussed again and some members of the Planning Commission will attend the Selectboard presentation on April 10^th. C. Raymond will print a first draft of all the new Bylaw changes and mail it to the Board members for their review. The first draft will be discussed at the next meeting.

9:15 PM M. Hunziker made a motion to adjourn. A. Lemieux second. All in favor.

The next meeting will be Tuesday evening April 18, 2006.
