FAIRFAX TOWN OFFICE

PC MEMBERS PRESENT: G. Heyer, A. Lemieux, P. Hudson, R. Wimble

Public Present:  Skip Taylor, Zoning Administrator

7:30 PM Greg Heyer called the meeting to order. A copy of the e-mail “Addressing Growth and Development in Fairfax” from Greta Brunswick of Northwest Regional Planning Commission was read and discussed. It was decided to add to the draft of suggested Bylaw changes, the following Conditional Uses in all districts that do not allow them now, with the exception of the Shoreland District and Recreation District:  Rooming and Boarding Houses, Bed and Breakfasts, Public Facilities, Low Impact Public Facilities, Retail Sales, Personal Services, Professional Services, and Light Industrial.  A definition of Bed and Breakfast will be added, and the definition of Retail Sales will be changed.

Planned Unit Developments were also discussed and changes to that section will be made.

A fourth draft of the Bylaws will be printed and sent to Catherine Dimitruk of Northwest Regional Planning Commission for review and comments before the draft will be printed for a public hearing.

8:45 PM  P. Hudson made a motion to adjourn, A. Lemieux second.  All in favor.

There will be no meeting on February 6, 2007.

The next meeting will be on February 13, 2007.

Respectfully Submitted,

Cathy Raymond, Planning and Zoning Assistant
