The minutes from December 20, 2005 were reviewed.  A. Lemieux made a motion to accept the minutes from Dec. 20, 2005, M. Hunziker second.  All in favor.  The revised section on Building Heights was reviewed and accepted with a few minor changes.  Fire prevention and building codes were discussed. S. Taylor will contact North West Regional Planning for advice on incorporating safety issues into the Bylaws.  The section on signs was again reviewed and accepted with some changes.  The subjects of boundary adjustments, single lot subdivision on a working farm, and two (2) lot subdivisions were discussed.  Changes to these sections will be made.

The Town Plan was discussed. Mark Hunziker would like the Planning Commission (PC) to have some training on the future of Agriculture, since farming is such an important component of the Town Plan. He also suggested training on tax-based economics and how the Town can make better use of resources through planning. The PC then completed a survey from the Vermont Planners’ Association.

A. Lemieux made a motion to adjourn. M. Hunziker second, all in favor.

The next regular meeting will be on January 17, 2006.
