That stinks!

Does anyone remember a dinosaur that was on a trailer, and stolen in the '80's?  It was found on top of the hill, above the bridge and Boutin's store, majestically on the skyline.  (where there's a house now)
What was that dinosaur for?

Maybe the duck will return too?

Over the years a number of items have been taken.  Not long ago, Gargy The Gargoyle up near Adams Quick Stop in North Fairfax was taken, but returned:

Hopefully The Big Yellow Duck will be returned.

Some gnomes were taken a year or so ago from River Road, I believe.

A co-worker told me a story about a lady in Plattsburg with lots of gnomes in her yard - one day, she discovered one of her gnomes on her front porch with a dozen picture of the gnome in various places around the area.  She had no idea it was gone.

Sucks someone took the duck.  My 12 mo. old daughter was pointing at it and laughing one day when we stopped to get a video.  I stood her next to it, and she give it a hug.  I wanted to stop back and see if she would repeat that when i had a camera in hand.
