I saw Mildred's son Richard down at Steeple's the other day and he tells me that someone apparently shot a bullet through Mildred Warren's window.  Don't know who it was, but somebody was shooting in a wrong direction for sure.  I believe Mildred or Richard called the Sherriff's department to investigate, but haven't heard any more.

FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PRESS RELEASE

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Vandalism
OFFICER:    Thompson
DATE OF INCIDENT: 2/12/10
TIME OF INCIDENT:
LOCATION OF INCIDENT:  Fletcher Rd

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 2/12/10 at approximately 1945 hrs, I was dispatched to Fletcher Road in the area of River Road for a residence with broken windows.  Further investigation of the scene revealed that the windows were shot out by most likely a small caliber high velocity round such as a .22 cal rifle.  From the believed trajectory, it is suggested that the rounds were fired from across the road in the area behind the bakery.  Anyone with any information of this offense is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 524-2121.

Fortunately, Millie wasn't in the way of that discharged bullet and didn't get injured!
