Picture of the Day

Another picture of Rol Southard's Fairfax Garage, where Boutin's is now. I'm thinking picture of from the late 20's or 30's?

THE BIG WEEKEND
Well, as one sport comes to a close, another one's season begins.
Sunday is the Unofficial National Holiday called Super Bowl Sunday. Colts vs. Saints. I really don't care who wins, I just want to see a good game.
At the same time, the racing season gets underway in earnest with Daytona 500 qualifying, the ARCA 200, and the Bud Shootout all Saturday. A lot of attention will be paid to the ARCA race as Danica Patrick makes her stock car debut. NASCAR is hoping she will draw interest to the sport. I really don't see her setting the place on fire. I think she will be consistant-top 10/top15- but not exactly dominating.
To me, the biggest racing story is across the pond. Former World Champion Michael Shumacher has come out of retirement to drive for the world champion Brawn team, now called Mercades Grand Prix. This will be interesting to see how he will do. First race is March sometime.
They are racing in Florida. That means spring is just around the corner. Right?
