June 17, 1935 - April 22, 2024

In loving memory of Kathryn Webb, fondly known as Kay to those who cherished her deeply. Kathryn passed away on April 22, 2024, at the University of Vermont Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy that will forever hold a place in the hearts of many.

Born on June 17, 1935, Kathryn's life was a masterpiece woven with the threads of creativity and passion. As a well-known artist, her exquisite work adorned the landscapes of Vermont, capturing the essence of beauty in every stroke. Her artistry spoke volumes, painting vivid stories that resonated with all who had the privilege to experience it.

Beyond her artistic talents, Kathryn shared solace, joy and horse habit with her daughter Susie. She enjoyed the company of her beloved horses. The equestrian world was not just a hobby for her; it was a realm where she found peace and serenity amidst the bustling canvas of life. Her love for horses was not unique to horses, as she loved her K9 companions fiercely

Kathryn is reunited in eternal peace with her parents Ivis and Francis Gainey, as well as her loving husband of 55 years James “Jim” Webb. Although she has departed from this world, her spirit lives on through the memories shared by her surviving family and friends. Among those left to cherish her legacy are her three children: Michael Webb (Diane), James Patrick Webb, and Susan Webb; five grandchildren, Bennet, Sean, Nicholas, Sarah and Allison; and five great-grandchildren with whom she enjoyed spending time with. Their lives have been enriched by Kathryn's love and wisdom, which will continue to guide them in their journeys ahead.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Kathryn's extraordinary life will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024, 1PM at the Grand Isle Cemetery in Grand Isle, VT. The service will be a poignant moment for all who knew and admired Kay as they come together to bid farewell to a remarkable soul whose light will forever shine brightly in their hearts.

In every stroke of paint and every hoofbeat that echoes through the fields she dearly loved, Kathryn's presence will be felt—a timeless reminder of a life filled with passion, creativity, and boundless love. May her soul rest in peace as her artistic spirit dances among the stars. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Grand Isle Rescue

*May you paint the skies in hues of eternity, dear Kay.*
