Police Investigate Crash In Westford

Criminal charges are expected in connection with a one-car accident early Sunday morning on the Westford-Milton Road.

Vermont State Police said the crash, which happened at about 1:30 a.m., was reported by cell phone to 911. The vehicle, a 1994 Plymouth Voyager minivan, was found severely damaged on the south side of the road.

An investigation determined that Travis Hoague, 30, of St. Albans had been driving the minivan at the time of the crash, and that the vehicle had been registered to Dan Turner Automotive, police said.

Troopers said they were not able to locate Hoague, but witness statements advised that Hoague phoned Dan Turner Automotive to retrieve the vehicle from the crash scene.

Criminal charges are expected after the investigation has been completed, police said.
