81 years ago, the village of Fairfax, Fairfax Falls and surrounding communities went through a devastating time.  We were so wrapped up in the voting on November 4, 2008, that I completely forgot to mention it on my forum.  Mike Cain did an excellent write-up on The Flood of 1927 and I have it in a web site on my Fairfax Historical Society.  I have gathered a few photos also that you can click on and view if you wish within the web site.  To view, click on the following link:

I'm just as guilty. I didn't mention it on my site either.
