Library Programs in March!
Kids Yoga Classes with Jessica Turner
Join Jessica for weekly virtual kids yoga classes! Classes start Wednesday, March 10th at 4 pm. To sign up for any or all of the 8-week session, go to the library Eventbrite page at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/kids-yoga-classes-with-jessica-turner-tickets-141741664133

Youth Events
Thursday and Friday, March 11 & 12, 4 pm: Make Rainbow Paper
Make rainbow paper with a bowl of water, paper and clear nail polish! If you don't have some clear nail polish at home, let us know and we can put a bottle in with your materials! Pick up your materials at the library on Thursday between 3 and 7, and watch the Facebook livestream on Friday at 4. The video will remain available afterwards, so don't worry if you miss it! Ages 6+ Please register!

Thursday and Friday, March 4 & 5, 4 pm: Rainbow Shakers with a Pot O' Gold
Make a St. Patricks day themed rainstick (or rainbowstick), complete with a pot of gold! Pick up your materials at the library on Thursday between 3 and 7, and watch the Facebook livestream on Friday at 4. The video will remain available afterwards, so don't worry if you miss it! Ages 6+ Please register!

Thursday and Friday, March, 18 & 19, 4 pm: Craft Stick Marble Run
Build your own marble course out of popsicle sticks and cardboard! Pick up your materials at the library on Thursday between 3 and 7, and watch the Facebook livestream on Friday at 4. The video will remain available afterwards, so don't worry if you miss it! Ages 6+ Please register!

Celebrate Youth Art Month!
This month, submit your art to the library to be part of a display of local children's art! We will have both a physical display in the library as well as a virtual gallery online, so feel free to bring in your art yourself, or send a picture of it to libraryfairfax@gmail.com. The cutoff for submissions is March 26!

Adult Events
Saturday, March 27, 1 pm: Virtual Knitting Club
Relax and chat while working on your latest knitting or crochet project! If you would like some basic knitting materials, let us know and they will be provided at curbside pickup on Thursday from 3 to 7. Join the Zoom meeting on Saturday at 1 pm! Please register with libraryfairfax@gmail.com to receive the zoom link!

Thursday and Friday, March 25 & 26, 7 pm: Making Terrariums
It's that time of year when we're all longing for something green. Learn how to make a terrariam, and keep a little bit of green with you all year round! Pick up your materials at the library on Thursday between 3 and 7, and join the Zoom meeting on Friday at 7 pm. Please register to receive the zoom link!

Wednesday, March 10th, 6:30-8:00 pm: Virtual Book Club
This month, the book club will discuss the book, The Henna Artist, by Alka Joshi. If you would like to borrow a copy of the book and the Zoom meeting information, please contact the library at fairfaxlibrarian@gmail.com or call us at 849-2420. All are welcome!
