Seasons Greetings Friends and Family:

The giving season is once again upon us.  As most of you know, it was nine years ago that I started doing mission trips to Haiti with the Franciscan Friars an Sisters of the Renewal after significant damage from Hurricane Matthew and than an earthquake in 2010.  Haiti still continues to suffer from those disasters as well as more recent disasters - as recently a just a few weeks ago when a fire destroyed the orphanage school.  In January, I will again be joined by my wife Helen, Bob Thompson and Karen Fitzgerald.  We will also be welcoming Lucy an Roger Parent from Asceension Church on this mission.

Thanks to your generous donations last year, w war able to build 30 chicken coops for thee resident to raise their own egg-laying birds as well as 30 houses and bathrooms.  This year, we will. Be. Building a Boy Scout meeting house and rebuild the orphanage school.

We cannot do these relief missions without your financial assistance, and your donations are critical to our success.  In addition to building supplies for the project mentioned above, your donations also help fulfil n ends for medicine for the health clinic and food for the families.  We continue to provide basic foo items such as rice,  beans and pasta for thousands during the food handout, and the need increases each and every year.

Please help us by forwarding your check payable to “Friar Suppliers” to me at 275 Swamp Road, Fairfax Vt. 05454.  You will receive a tax form in early February, as all donations are deductible.  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at greghelen@myfairpoint.net, or call me at 849-6232.

We hope that we can once again count on your continued support of our relief mission.

On behalf of all of us, I thank you.

Yours truly,,

Greg Hartmann
