SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On May 8, 2017 Troopers from the Saint Albans State Police barracks were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Fairfield Rd at the intersection of Ellsworth Rd in Fletcher, VT. Troopers were advised the vehicle was a tow truck hauling another vehicle.

Upon arrival, Troopers observed a White All Metals flatbed truck off the right side of the roadway. It had a Gold Minivan on the flatbed and was towing a full-sized Toyota pick-up. It was determined that Andrew Miller (26) was operating the tow truck at the time of the crash. Miller told Troopers he was traveling at 35mph on a posted 50mph road when he lost his breaks. Miller was then transported to North West Medical Center where he was given a citation to careless and negligent operation. Miller must appear in Franklin County Superior Court on June 19, 2017 at 1pm.

This crash is still under investigation by State Police and DMV.
