Monday, February 20, 3-4pm: Lab Girls This new club empowers young women to explore science through hands-on experiments and activities. For grades 6-12. This month we will have a special guest showing us how to suture a banana and sharing about her experience in the medical field. Must register.
Tuesday, February 21, 9:30-10:30am: Preschool Story Hour: Ice Skating Join us for themed stories, songs, and activities for ages 0-6. No registration necessary for story hour.
Wednesday, February 22, 3-4pm: STEM club: Kids age 6+ will build spool cars to explore potential energy. Must pre-register.
Thursday, February 23, 6:15-8pm: Parent Workshop Series: Scott Noyes presents Parent-Child Interactions & Self-Esteem: Good, Better, Best. This workshop includes how we talk with children, the difference between praise and encouragement, how to avoid self-defeating patterns, responsibility and independence, and looking into a day in the life of a child.
Saturday, February 25, 11am-12pm: “Farm to School” Community Connections and Seed Swap Big things are happening on the hill behind the school! Learn about what our youth are working on and how we can get involved. Plus, bring seeds for a swap with other local growers and increase the diversity of your garden this year.
