ACCUSED:Joseph Scarpellino                                                                                     

AGE:18

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: St. Jean Sur Richelieu, QC.

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 9/27/12, at approximately 0843hrs, Trp. Schneider was monitoring north bound traffic on Interstate 89 in the town of Swanton when a 2009 BMW 335XI passed him at 93mph. 

When Trp. Schneider caught up to the vehicle the vehicle was traveling at 115mph to 120mph. 

When the vehicle stopped the operator was identified as Joseph Scarpellino.

Scarpellino was taken into custody and later released with a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court Criminal Division for the charge of excessive speed.
