07/01/12 2050hrs Family Fight. Beaver Pond Rd. Alcohol fueled disturbance between a married couple. Parties were separated. (12-1114)

07/02/12 1113hrs Fraud. Sam Webb Rd. Local resident complained of identity theft.

07/02/12 1140hrs Theft. Rood Mill Rd. Complainant advised that the motor was stolen from his boat. Motor was entered into missing item database. (12-1121)

07/02/12 1425hrs Theft. Maple St. Complainant advised that a crossbow was taken from his residence. Unsure who may have taken it or when it may have been taken. (12-1124)

07/10/12 2220hrs Assault. Hunt St. Upon arrival the Deputy learned that the 2 subjects involved (both of which are in their twenties) planned to meet and fight. The loser of the fight called the Sheriff’s Office. (12-1177)

07/13/12 1753hrs Motor Vehicle Complaint. Main St. Two vehicle crash. No injuries. (12-1188)

07/16/12 0837hrs Bad Check. Main St. Bad check passed at a local business. (12-1197)

07/17/12 2132hrs Suspicious. Buck Hollow Rd. Parent concerned for the safety of a child. Child was fine. (12-1210)

07/17/12 2359hrs Suspicious. Nichols Rd. Complainant advised that someone may have tried to break into their residence. Investigation revealed nothing suspicious. (12-1211)

07/19/12 1747hrs Theft. Austin Rd. Complainant advised that within the last 2 or 3 days 2 fuel tanks were taken from his boat. (12-1225)

07/20/12 1731hrs Suspicious. Wilkins Rd. Complainant advised that their neighbor was shooting a gun. Investigation revealed that the property upon which the shooting was taking place was safe. Complainant was advised to contact the select board and discuss local ordinances. (12-1229)

07/20/12 1907hrs Trespassing. Main St. Subject fishing at the reservoir, investigation revealed that the subject works for the water department and has permission to fish there. (12-1231)

07/21/12 0023hrs Trespassing. Main St. Complainant advised that he saw lights on inside a building that should be vacant. A building search revealed that the property was empty. (12-1233)

07/22/12 2103hrs Family Fight. Old Academy Ln. Verbal argument between wife and husband. (12-1239)

07/23/12 1801hrs Suspicious. Sunrise Rd. Neighbor’s chickens are coming on to the property and damaging the garden. Owner of the chickens will be putting up a fence.   (12-1241)

07/23/12 2113hrs Missing Person. Tabor Hill Rd. Complainant advised that a family member / acquaintance was missing. Person was located next door, all was well.         (12-1243)

07/23/12 2259hrs Motor Vehicle Complaint. Main St. Complainant advised they saw a vehicle off the road. Upon arrival the vehicle was gone. (12-1244)

07/24/12 1249hrs Noise Disturbance. Meadow Rd. Complainant advised that fireworks were going off in the area and their child was having a hard time getting to sleep. Upon arrival no fireworks could be heard. (12-1249)

07/24/12 2327hrs Suspicious. Fletcher Rd. 30 year old subject went for a bike ride and had not returned. Subject was located later in the evening safe and sound. (12-1250)

07/25/12 1015hrs Directed Patrol. Fairfax. (12-1253)

07/25/12 1145hrs Motor Vehicle Complaint. Sam Webb Rd. Complainant advised that a truck was parked on the side of the road, the driver of the truck advised he was out of gas. A Deputy tried to locate the truck but it was gone prior to arrival. (12-1255)

07/26/12 1610hrs VIN Inspection. Fletcher Rd. VIN verified for registration. (12-1263)

07/27/12 2201hrs Family Fight. Clark Rd. Uncooperative witness. (12-1268)

07/28/12 2147hrs Noise Disturbance. Rugg Rd. Anonymous complainant advised that a party was going on at a neighbor’s home. Upon arrival nothing was going on. (12-1274)

07/28/12 2159hrs Noise Disturbance. Goose Pond Rd. Complainant advised that folks in their neighborhood were shooting off fireworks and having a party. Upon arrival the Deputies spoke to the landowner and told them to keep their gathering quiet. (12-1275)

07/31/12 1934hrs ATV Incident. Stonebrook Rd. Complainant advised that a yellow ATV was operating unsafely. Deputy was unable to locate ATV. (12-1290)

07/31/12 1950hrs 911 Hang-up Call. Fox Run Rd. Deputy was able to determine that a 12 year old was messing around with the phone. Parents will handle discipline. (12-1291)

07/31/12 1954hrs DLS. Stonebrook Rd. Jay Sweeney, 37 years old from Cambridge, VT was arrested for driving with a criminally suspended license. (12-1292)
