Police Phone Lines Down !!!

VERMONT STATE POLICE PRESS RELEASE

All phone lines answered by  the Vermont State Police In Williston are currently down.  This includes  the Williston, St. Albans and Middlesex barracks.  The duration of this phone problem is currently unknown and a Press Release will be  issued when updates are available. Below is a list of the agencies that are affected by this issue, and alternative  phone numbers they can be reached on until this problem is resolved.

Williston VSP, VSP Lamoille Outpost, Richmond Police and the Underhill/Jericho Fire Dept. can be reached at 1-802-585-6103 or 1-802-585-6165.

St. Albans VSP, Grand Isle Sheriffs and Swanton Police can be reached at 1-802-585-6114

Middlesex VSP,  Waterbury Police, Berlin Police, Northfield Police and the Warren Fire Deptcan be reached at  1-802-585-6098

An alternative number available for any of the above agencies, should the primary lines be busy is 1-802-585-6134

These numbers should be used for non emergency calls to these agencies. If you have an emergency, Dial 911.

Currently, the Williston State Police office is awaiting replacement parts to repair our phone system.

The above listed numbers are still being used as alternative contact numbers for the agencies listed.  The state-wide 911 system is working normally for emergency calls.

We will provide updates on our system as soon as possible, in the mean time, we ask that these numbers be publicized.  Please be patient on these lines, as we are getting multiple calls.
