For the 7th year in a row the Not Your Usual Youth Group will be walking in the COTS walk on May 1.  This is a  fund-raiser for the various homeless shelters in Burlington.  Part of the walk is through the various shelters, where walkers are treated to water and cookies and get to see where their money goes.  Often we have encountered folks to whom we served supper at the Salvation Army.
If you wish to support this cause,  please contact me, Pastor Liz!
Thank you.

It was a great day; we raised over $500 and had fun too.  It is always wonderful to see youth groups and parents with children; old folk and young folk out walking to support a great cause.   It is always an eye-opener to visit the shelters that we support through walking.
Of course, we had our Ben and Jerry's when we were done, and we all got tee shirts, too!
