SUMMARY OF INCIDENTS:
On April 7, 2011 I was notified by dispatch of a burglary that occurred on
Lakewood Drive in the town of Swanton.  I responded to the residence and met
with Harold Campbell.  Campbell owns 2 small trailers that were broken into on
his property on the night of 04/06/11.  The 2 trailers had the door hinges cut
off.  Campbell advised several items were taken, including: 2 Dewalt power tools
and 4 Bostitch power tools.
On April 13, 2011 I was notified by dispatch of a burglary that occurred on
Main Street in the town of Fairfax.  I responded to the scene and met with Allen
Poulin and his wife Elizabeth Poulin.  They advised their 2 small trailers were
parked in their driveway on the night of the burglary on 04/06/11.  One trailer
had the door hinges cut off and was entered; the other trailer had evidence of
attempted forced entry, however this trailer was not broken in to.  Poulin advised
1 Bostitch power tool, 1 sawzall, 1 toolbox, and several smaller tools were taken from
the trailer.
In both incidents the same method was used to gain entry into the trailers.
The evidence collected at both scenes and the types of items taken indicate a
possible connection between the burglaries.
