Part 5

Small item, metal, measuring about 2 and 1/2 inches in length, shaped like a fish.

The mouth part is open, and hollow, with a small rod protruding from it's throat.

In all honesty, we weren't quite sure what it was.

Looks like something that would hold a lightshade on a lamp.

there are things about this we can not see
is the center rod threaded or is it broken off or is it just a straight pin?
the hand held end for a pointer?
pull for a lite switch
if the pin is broken off it could be for a cork board or a chair caning tool

Al Brodeur wrote-"is the center rod threaded or is it broken off or is it just a straight pin?" Straight pin.

The tail fins are slightly bent in opposite directions.
My thought was for the older tires-it was used to let the air out of a tire(mouth end), then use the tail to take the plug out. It is much larger than the plugs used today. Maybe the older tire valves were a lot bigger.
