Hello FB friends in the Fairfax area! Has anyone seen Daisy? She is my blue tick coonhound dog. She is black/white/brown and weighs about 100 pounds. Unfortunately she doesn't have her collar on, as its sitting on my kitchen floor. I will try to put a pic of her as my profile pic when I get a chance to get on a computer.

All, I am attempting to put updates from emails Dad (Henry) has received. So far I have posted the same Cat found post 3 times as I was putting it in the wrong groups, can't figure out the step I am missing for the photo to show up so I did the web link. I can see it when I click on it but not sure if anyone else can. So bare with me and when Dad gets home I will sit down with him and take notes  Mary Kay

 I found this cat injured on Rood Mill Rd and took it to the vets, it is fine, a few issues with the feet. I'd like to find the owner, no vet expenses need be repaid. He weighs 13 lbs and is a beautiful black/white cat with white boots. Where do I post this of can I on your website? I have enclosed a picture. Please let me know if I can as I'm disabled and can't go door to door without causing myself great pain. Thank you for your help, Judy

OK, so had a scary ride home today.
I was on Shelburne Road heading towards 189 near Kotos, stopped at a stop light and a guy walked across the road and went slowly toward my car and walked behind it. I had the hairs on the back of my neck tingling so I hit the door lock button on my car. Right after I hit the button he came around to the front passenger door and tried getting in!
I yelled "Get the F away" and he got up on the curb by the bus stop now and just did circles. I am guessing he was on some serious drugs.
Very scary.... I called the cops and gave a detailed description to them.
PLEASE LOCK YOUR DOORS, if they do not auto lock and stay alert!

Jinny Janesik will be on the Today show today, a 1988 BFA Fairfax Graduate. She is showing how she is savy with clothes. She redesigns clothes when her daughter out grows them and saves money! I am so proud of my friend/classmate! So get that tv on to channel 5!

Just saw on Facebook to avoid Pearl Street. The road is closed due to a structure fire. My Essex friends let me know it was Wendy's on fire across from the Fairgrounds.
Hopefully no one was hurt.

As I get up this morning to start work at 6am, my first thought was UGH, on Christmas Eve, but I immediately turned that around to how thankful I am to have a great job, work for a great company, and I am on vacation after this morning.
I am truly blessed to have such a loving family who all work together on the holidays to make them very special, good food, good company, and always lots of laughs. You can always feel the love when you walk into my Dad's house from the whole family. It turly is the most special part of the Holidays.
I am also so VERY thankful that my Dad is home and able to enjoy Christmas with us at home and not in the hospital/Rehab.
And finally, to my friends far and near, who never would think of not being there when I need them and to share the good times as well; I don't know what I would do without you.
Growing up in Fairfax and then moving back here to place my roots is a choice I will never regret. The community is full of amazing, caring people and when you need help, you have 20 people behind you saying "What can I do?"

Please help me in wishing my Dad, Henry Raymond a very Happy Birthday this Saturday! "The Man Behind the Website!" - Such a wonderful contribution to the town!  Mom and Dad - We were blessed to be raised by two parents who were role models in the community, their family, and their employers  Family is very important to my Dad - We are all his #1 priority - Here he is with Mom and his sister Theresa  Here we are as a family in 1972 for Sharon's 1st Communion -  2009 - My sister Lynn and her husband Mike at their 25th Anniversary Party at my house with Mom and Dad -  2012 - Dad and I at my house when the Hot Air Balloon Landed in my back yard - I am so blessed to have been able to live next door for the last 12 years! I don't know what I do without you Daddy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

The Fairfax Haunted House at the Baptist Church on Main Street for 3 nights!!!

Saturday, October 27th, - 5pm-8pm
Wednesday, October 31st - 5pm-8pm
Adult $3 and Children under 12 are $2.
The event is Co-Sponsored by the CFC, Parks and Rec department and National Honor Society!
A lot of work has been done to make this haunted house fun for all ages!
