The Moshers jumped right into being a part of our community - Running the community playgroup, gathering all the names for me of everyone who registered for the community egg hunt, my heart is just breaking for them. 

Greg and I taught together for 4 years - he was a wonderful guy and the very first friend I made at Mount Abe.
I'm so sorry and very sad to learn of his passing.

We will be tagging each item when it is brought in, we will take donated items as well as item to be used and returned to the owners.

The CFC, Fairfax Parks and Rec and NHS are hosting a Haunted house in the baptist bldg on October 26, 27 and 31st - we need decorations, furniture, and lots of volunteers to decorate and be scary!  There will also be a nonscary little kids section!

Yesterday, I was working downstairs when I heard a truck backing up- I didn't think it was my driveway, so I didn't look right away, when I went upstairs to look, I saw a large white truck looking some thing like a glass truck backing out of the driveway, it went out and up buck hollow.  So I would think the delivery would be further up buck hollow or a road off of it. I left to go to a meeting a hour later and that when I saw the major damage that the truck had created..it must have been stuck in my driveway for a while, deep ruts all over, collapsed the culvert - I know it's unlikely but I thought I would try.

Apparently she on a 4 day adventures and is now going to be kept in.. came back at 1am last night. I knew as soon as I posted something, she'd come back.

I don't know what's up, but she's missing again for 3 days - She came home on the 4th night last time.
I wanted to keep in her in forever but she begged and got out -
Please keep your eyes out and Henry - can you post photo again?

Our cat went missing Monday evening/Tuesday morning, she always comes in when I call her.
She's 11 and we've had her since she was a kitten.
completely Grey, no collar (she lost it earlier this summer) so you can see where she had one...
Her name is shadow. Extremely friendly.
I'll try to get a photo up soon.

You can buy circus tickets at the town hall monday through friday 9-4 and on monday and thursday evenings.

Spread the word - we have two shows and the Rec department gets 35% of the proceeds from presale tickets. If we sell over 250 tickets -we get 50 % of the proceeds/
Tickets are also cheaper to pre buy, $12.00 for adults. $15.00 at the Door -
Kids are free - up to 14 years old!

Tickets are not available today - I have them - but I could bring them to someone.
