I did sign up with them under the advice from this forum. This was a couple months ago & i have not received a receipt or any correspondence from them. I have left them messages with no return phone calls. Sooooo I'm not sure I would recommend at this point. I am hoping this is an oversight as others were very happy with the service they received.

Seems the air conditioning repair would be the landlords responsibility?  Very unfortunate, I had been hearing good things.

General Discussion / Getting rid of Suburban Propane
« on: June 02, 2014, 10:20:52 AM »
Now that spring has sprung I am on the search for a new propane company. As i know many of you are, I am extremely disappointed in Suburban Propanes price gouging, terrible customer service, & horrible business practices. Looking for suggestions good & bad on other local companies. I have made it my mission to switch before another delivery is needed!

I saw someone being given a sobriety check at Nan's by the Sheriffs dept. I think this may have been the incident.

I have heard that grubs attract them to certain areas; so to use some sort of grub control on your lawn. Maybe because its been a wet spring? Unsure, but they are a pain.

I understand with someone having a pet but would they be aggressive toward people or are they just as afraid of us? As i sometimes walk the rec. path alone.

I agree. Would be a shame to see it torn down. Why not put it on the market for a pre-determined amount of time & see what happens?!

Current News & Events / Re: Trash pick up????
« on: February 06, 2014, 01:26:45 PM »
Our trash has been picked up on time so no complaints there. But I must say their customer service is horrible. I emailed them approx. three weeks ago with no response & have tried to call numerous times with no one answering their phone. I just had general questions about getting trash cans from them; as I have seen some "Duffy" trash cans at the end of driveways.

Just to note for those who may know her, Mr. Gosselins wife Jeanne Therrien Gosselin, was a BFA Fairfax 1986 graduate. Her father, Real Therrien was also a resident of Fairfax years ago. My thoughts & prayers go out to Jeanne, her children & all of her family during this difficult time.

Many thanks! With all the challenges of the weather this past week,  I must say the roads were the least of the worries thanks to the great job done by the road crew!
