Thanks for posting that Henry. My washer is approaching 20 years old, and I've been thinking of replacing it with a front loader when it dies. After reading that website, I think I'll stick with a top loader.

Does anyone know when in Oct, and at what time, the flu shots will be available at the Fire Station? My wife thought she read the 17th, but I burnt the paper the other day to start a fire on one of our cold mornings....

I worked with 'T' (as we called her) for many years. A wonderful lady, always quick to help anyone out and always thinking of herself last.  I'm happy to hear she is doing OK.

I agree with the folks that say leave the Notch as it is. It would be a travesty to change the road to allow trucks to pass through.
