Fairfax News / Upcoming Events / The Buck Hollers Band emerges from the COVID cocoon!

Arrowhead Golf Course hosts The Buck Hollers Band (www.buckhollers.com) this week (http://arrowheadvt.com/) Friday 6:30 - 9:00 PM. After coming up with socially-distanced rehearsals (which, based on the eating habits of at least two members, we should have done a LONG time ago ...), we're ready to rock with some traditional Americana, bluegrass, country, and Irish tunes. And, we have a couple hilarious new pieces that'll lighten up the viral load just a bit! "The Buck Hollers Band, COVID-safe since since 2015 with never a crowd more than 25" Reservations strongly recommended: 802 893 0234.

Join us at Snow Farm winery in S. Hero from 6:30 - 8:30 PM this Friday for a great evening in a wonderful setting (food and beverage available). After a Winter break The Buck Hollers Band returns with a new look and some new sounds! We’ve added the rich baritone R&B stylings of Joel Snyder along with some toe-tapping percussion to our traditional mix of folk, heartland rock, classic country and witty originals (and if any little ones are in the audience you never know when a baby shark might swim by ...). Finally, with St. Patricks day coming up we’ll feature a handful of our great Irish songs, from romantic to rowdy. https://www.snowfarm.com/winter-wine-downs/

Blending guitar, banjo, bass, harmonica and rich vocal harmonies with a tight rhythmic sound, the multi-talented quartet features Matt Parisi on bass, Dave Vallett on acoustic guitar and banjo, Tim Wills on acoustic guitar and Steve White on harmonica and acoustic mini guitars. Delving into their eclectic selection of classic country ballads, gospel, R & B, and witty originals this group is well suited to the warm acoustics of the Westford White Church.
