Gee ....

Don't suppose that is the reason why so many DON'T pay their Water Bills .... The Town of Fairfax makes it so easy NOT to pay it!  It is a bill, darn it pay up or move out and someone in charge better take the stand and tell these folks just that! 

If they don't pay their TAXES, there are Late fee's then there are Attorney FEE's and then your home is sold!  Is The Town of Fairfax going to set up a payment plan for TAXES without fee's too?

If The Town of Fairfax is looking for suggestions on this topic, here is mine ....

All new applications for Water should include a $100.00 refundable deposit at time of disconnection.  This would give the Water Dept a working surplus and protect The Town a little bit on those whom feel entitled to dump on the rest of us should they not pay they loose their $100 deposit. 

However, The Town of Fairfax would never do this because it would be an UNPOPULAR move.

Would anyone here like to take a stabe at the price of "pumping" their own Septic System? 
Would anyone here like to take a guess of the price of installing a Septic System?  How about a Leach Field? 
How about the price of a well and the pump for the well? 
Anyone?   Didn't thinki so.

If you never had to investigate these prices ... then PAY YOUR BILL and pay it On TIme!  To install or maintain any of the above is MUCH more than what you are paying with or with out a lot of folks in your house.  For $450 -$500/year I would prepay my Water/Sewage bill GLEEFULLY!

        But then what would you complain about ...?

EXCELLENT place to eat .... Morning or Evening!  Great food AND service ALL the time.  Consistency is there all the time.  No need to worry if they are open or closed or under new management this week/month!  Good food from people who do better than good work.

Not happening here in Fairfax! 

You would be surprised at how many Parents do NOT perform a "cell phone" audit which consist of putting you hand out and saying "cell phone audi!"at anytime.    As a Parent you should review what was sent, what was received and what Photo's are being taken.   if you don't know how to use the cell phone .... ask you child to demonstrate to you the last 5-10 calls that they made SLOWLY and the last 5-10 calls that they had received and photo's taken!    It is very easy to gather the information to see if the cell phone is being used appropriately.  That is the ONLY way a child should be allow to have a cell phone.

 It must be policed by the Parents before it is used in a Court Hearing!

Listen to the News .... NY state had to close state campgrounds and parks this past year!  State of Vermont had to close rest stops along the Interstate!  I Vote NO and so should YOU!

OMG ... Nothing is FREE ! 


There are many folks who live on a FIXED income.  These same folks have to wonder at what point do they sell because they too now can't afford these FREE; Won't impact the bottom line STATEMENTS??

Most folks don't want to hear .... Federal Goverment will pay or a FREE GRANT ..... that means we are all paying for it!  Think about everyone around you and if you want Full Day Kindergarten PAY FOR IT!  OH yeah .... then you will want a NEW SCHOOL Bus Just for Kindergarten;  and a NEW Building; and another Teacher; oh yeah at least two assistants; then there is Health Insurance;

But hey .... it is FREE!

Trail Camera's aren't just for hunters!

All it takes is a 6-volt battery and then you can down load onto a computer.  By the way ... you can place these Trail Camera's ANYWHERE outside!   Just like BIG BROTHER!

I agree with Papi.    My Christmas Party we all prepared or baked something and had a great time!   I work hard VERY hard also!  What was the $225.00 spent on?  Does anyone recall this being in the Town Report?   NO because there is SO MUCH fluff in the Town Report! 

Does anyone believe .... having a job requires you to hum .... work hard?  It use to be the Selectboard would treat the Town Employee's to a dinner out and the Selectboard PAID for it!
