Title: Mike & Margie - Sorry For Your Loss
Post by: Henry on March 13, 2010, 10:07:22 AM
Mike & Margie, those of us who have lost our beloved pets do understand your loss and do know that everytime you go to the Georgia Farmhouse, you will think of the many times you made the special trip to get Rex his "Doggie Creemee."  We also know that when Mike takes his walk on the Rec Path he will still remember Rex taking the walk with him.  Our pets fill a big void in our lives with their non-judgemental love for us - So very, very sorry for your loss:

Thoughts and prayers from Tennessee! A pet is nothing more than a hairy kid!

Thank you. It's been a rough time. Rex was a great dog. One in a million.

Mike, I am truly so sorry. With tears streaming down my face, I can only imagine your heartache. Our dogs are just like one of our kids. Know that we are all thinking of both of you. He has many a friends up there when he crosses that rainbow bridge. Shelly

Sorry to hear the sad news. It is a really tough thing to accept. Anyone who's been through the loss of a pet knows how it feels.  Our thoughts are with you, Mike and Margie.

Thank you all for the kinds words.

Almost 11 years ago I went to the Humane Society in the St. Albans looking for a little puppy who would grow into a little dog.  Rex - then 8 months old and 65 pounds - had other plans.  He chose me that day.  I needed to think about it, and the next morning took Mike out with me to meet him.  A few short minutes later, Rex took his first of MANY rides with me.  He was a best friend and constant companion, right to the end.

Rest in peace, my sweet Rexie.  You are already deeply missed.
