61 Year old man shoots self practicing quick draw
Barre police say a local man is recovering from a gunshot wound after he shot himself in the leg with a handgun while practicing a quick draw.
Police say a bullet from a revolver entered his leg just below the left knee and lodged in his foot.
Police say when rescue crews arrived at about 7 p.m. Tuesday they found the man sitting on the sidewalk near his home.
