Here is the latest news from the BFA Fairfax Track and Field. They are doing fantastic and the season is winding down. Thanks. Carol
BFA Fairfax track and field teams competed with some of the Top teams in the state on Thursday, May 19 in South Burlington- CVU,Burlington and Mt Abraham, S. Burlington and had some strong performances.
Heather Garner won the 100 m with a time of 13.16 and placed 3rd in the 200 m.
Lindsay Stanley won the 200 m with a time of 27.84 and also placed 4th in the 100 m.
Connor Gibson placed third in the 3000 m race (10:23)
The 4 x 800 m team of Sophie Grace, Kayla Whitmore, Megan Benay and Jen Schraven came in 4th while the boys 4 x 800 team of Ryan Duprat, Pat Fitzgerald, Adam Duprat and Connor Gibson placed 5th.
The 4 x 100 team of Lindsay Stanley, Hannah Duprat, Abby Lidster and Heather Garner placed 5th in their race while the 4 x 400 m team of Sophie Grace, Hannah Duprat, Marte Eik Isaksen and Jeanine Audet placed 4th.
In the shot put, Catherine McGuinness placed 4th with a throw of 26-9.
