Title: Fuel oil prices
Post by: Corm on December 31, 2014, 12:34:26 PM
Hi folks. Happy New Year!

I need to top off my fuel oil tank. I haven't bought any fuel oil for about 15 years, using wood as my primary heat source.

Where is the best place to buy oil these days? Who is good to deal with? Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Joyal Fuels is local and great people.  I do believe in supporting local businesses.

Thanks to everyone who responded to me and called me. I ended up going with Abba Fuels. As it turns out, owner Craig Bushey is my neighbor, and a real nice fellow. He topped off my tank this morning for $2.59 a gallon.

Again, thanks everyone!

I did a prebuy at $3.59.  Not a smart move on my part I guess

Henry- At least look at it this way- You know that the MOST you'll pay for fuel is $3.59/gallon- so it's kind of nice to know that you have a cap to what you could potentially spend.
