Title: 911 out of service
Post by: 7F24 on November 28, 2014, 07:01:01 PM
911 and local phones are not working at this time.  If you have an emergency, and can't get through to 911,  call Steve B standing by at the fire station 309-0891.  Steve will dispatch the fire department.

I spoke with 911 services. It has been up and down. They say call them first, if you cannot get thru, call our local, Steve Bessette's number up abover or go to your local fire house.

I'm glad this system is so redundant. This isn't some website that can go down. People don't have phone books or time to look up the local numbers. We're all told to call 911. They need to get their act together and this should be a huge legislative issue. Time to put those local numbers back on refrigerators I guess.
