Title: decorations on the bridge
Post by: sue on December 04, 2013, 10:56:47 AM
Someone put boughs and garland on the bridge in the village.  It looks really nice.  A very thoughtful thing to do.  Thank you

Justin Brown used to put a wreath on the covered bridge every year and I referred to it as Justin's Bridge back then.  Which bridge are you talking about Sue??

The bridge on 104 over Mill Brook. And I agree, the garlands are a nice touch!  Thank you, whoever you may be; your gesture is appreciated....and love that dog on Maple Street--the one with the mailbox in his mouth--assuming he hasn't melted away by now.

The thanks go to Annette Kelley who gathered supplies and organized a community effort on lower Main Street to make the decorations over the weekend.

Annette is giving me a write-up on it and I will be posting it here and she was going to ask Chris to put it in the Fairfax News also.  Not sure if she took any photos or not.
