The United Church of Westford held a recognition luncheon for Wilma Cowie at the Country Pantry Restaurant in Fairfax on Sunday, May 19th.  Wilma was recognized for her years of unfailing support of the United Church of Westford for over 40 years.  She received a bronze plaque with inscription which will be placed on permanent display in the UCW white church on the Westford green.  Wilma, who will soon celebrate her 95th birthday, presently resides in the King’s Daughters Home in St. Albans.  She is acknowledged for her continued charity and never wavering generosity to the Westford and St. Albans community.  Wilma has been best known among Westford citizens for her faithful assistance with voting on Town Meeting day.
