Title: Taking a little time off
Post by: Henry on December 01, 2012, 04:51:03 PM: As most of you know, I took a fall on some black ice on my way to church in front of my garage door - Should have called 911,but didn't - took me about a half hour to get in the house and called Mary Kay who called 911, Mike Spaulding beat the ambulance here - What a great rescue team we have - They took me to Fletcher Allen and after a number of tests and X-rays determined I had to be admitted - Wonderful care - Have some problems moving around and pain when i move - - but if I can get in a in position with no pain it feels good - I will be getting therapy for my lower body twice a day as well as occupational therapy so I can get home and be independent again. If any of you are down around here, feel free to stop in. I am at Burlington Rehab in room 213 Thanks for all the kind words. I love you all

Hope you feel better REAL SOON! How can we prevent this from happening again???? Do you have good boots with good grips on the bottom? Do you need salt for your driveway? You were a lucky young man not have hit your head or sustain broken bones. Anything you need...we all are here for you! How's the food there???? Relax and get well!
