Does anyone have suggestions for a local sand pit that will sell me sand for a new sandbox that I just built for my family? The sandbox is 8 ft x 8 ft and more than a foot deep. I am thinking I need about 2-3 yards of sand.
I would love it if it was delivered, but I do have a truck and could make multiple trips.
I am trying to avoid the $4 1/2 sq ft bags of granular gold that is for sale at Lowes and Home Depot.
Thanks,
Todd

Recent flooding has spread piles of fine river sand over stretches of the river bank adjacent to the the rec path. Ask the town clerk.
