Title: "What Is It?" Part 12

Metal. The handle is about 10-12 inches long. What is it?

 Potato ricer, put in cooked potato get mush out that looks like rice.

I vote for potato ricer. I think I have one somewhere.  As a curious youngster, I learned that you could squeeze a lot of things through there though :)

Definitely a potato ricer, my grandmother had one and it was used every Thanksgiving Dinner of my childhood. :-)

Interestingly enough we have one here and it is used every Thanksgiving & Christmas, because I like riced potatoes.  Riced potatoes microwave great with some nice turkey gravy over them.
